When we bred Tirria to Jasper we knew we wanted to retain a buck for our own breeding program and that he would be nice, but we really didn't expect such an exceptional kid from the beginning. Born at 11lbs and his sister at 12lbs, they hit the ground hungry and never looked back. Treason is a large framed, boned buck yet still shows strong dairy character. He has extreme width between the hocks and nice feet.

She is a very powerful, deep bodied, gorgeous uddered doe with just about the best disposition that we have had on an Alpine.  Not to mention a multiple generation SG doe, she LA'ed 92 to further establish her correctness.  Tirria freshened this year milking an impressive 16lbs and looked smashing. She picked up two GCH legs and was BUOB 4 x's, 1st aged doe 5 x's.  Tirria also LA'ed 92 EEEE again,
this time as an aged doe making it a permanent score!

DAM: Dewberry is beautiful doe from the Walnut Fork herd. She is long, tall, extremely sharp, angular and has beautiful feet and legs.  Dewberry comes from another extremely consistent dam line, more generations of SGs and high LA scores. She is also double bred on Sedric, sire of the 1st Sr. Get of Sire at the 2004 National Show.  Dewberry has shown well as a kid and a dry yearling. She was 2nd Jr. kid the only time shown at KY State Fair in both rings and was 2xs 1st and 3xs 2nd  as a Sr. yearling. Dew freshened with what I can only describe as an awesome mammary system---as close to perfection as we have had on an Alpine---ever!   As the year progressed Dew just looked better and better and milked like crazy.  That outstanding udder milks down to absolutely nothing.  Dew was 4 x's 1st,  2 x's Reserve GCH and 1 x's BUOB at her 1st four shows in May.  She made the cut at Nationals in the huge 2yr old class placing 17th which we were a little disappointed with, but she was a 1st freshener....she came home and was 2nd at State Fair and EX Show, LA'ed 89 and was awarded the SG title!!  We are real excited about this young doe.  She is ME'ed at over 3500lbs.

Daybreak is an extremely pretty kid!  She has nice rear leg set, wide and level rump, sharp withers and outstanding general appearance.  We had her and the twin marked for keepers, however when asked if we could find a doeling for the Buckeye Sale only our best would do!!  Dewberry is one of the best Alpines we have had the privilege to own in a while.  Dew was 16th 3 yr old at Nationals (I believe---if you have result book look it up for sure, but she made the cut in a huge class).
Dewberry  was then GCH, BOB, & BUOB a the KY State Fair Exhibitor's show in August. Dewberry was 3 times BUOB as a two year
old first freshener in 2007, 5 times 1st, 1 x GCH and twice Reserve GCH.
